Gidan Makama Mesuem --    This museum was initially built in 16th century as emir’s palace. It is now a museum and has a very large collection of historical and traditional materials on Kano. It is open for visit between 8am-4pm Monday –Saturday

Emir’s palace -- The palace is a magnificent displays beautiful traditional Hausa aristocratic buildings. Durbar, which is a traditional Hausa horse/camel racing, is mostly held in front of the palace during Muslim festivals such eid el kabir and eid el fitr and as occasion may demand. The palace is available for visits any time of the day.

Kofar Mata Dyeing Pits --   This place is located in one of famous Kano gates. It is where the traditional Hausa clothes are dyed dating back to the trans-Saharan trade era. The place is open for visits any time of the day.

Kano Walls   ---   These are walls erected in phases between 7th-12 centuries AD as protective shield   against aggressors it covers the entire old Kano city and has 16 gates such as, Kofar Mata, kofar Wambai, Kofar Nassarawa, and Kofar Dan Agundi, among others.

KADUNA STATE

Matsiga Waterfalls—This is located along Kafanchan-Madakiya road, the waterfall developed as a result of a spring along a permeable layer of rock between two ingenious rocks. The waterfalls down below along a height of 30 meters and makes the weather cool and refreshing. A river known as river wonderful developed in the area as a result of the fall. This river is also known to be very rich in aquatic life.

Arewa House—It is a historical monument, formally the residence of the first and only premier of Northern Nigeria between 1954-1966, late Sir Ahmadu Bello, Sardauna of Sokoto. Some of the late Premier’s property such as clothes and shoes are still there, preserved for tourist admiration. The Arewa House also presently serves as Centre for Documentation and Historical Research under Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.

Emir’s Palace (Zaria City) – The palace is a magnificent edifice and historical monument built some 200 years ago. It showcases the rich tradition and cultural heritage of Zaria people. It is ideal for sightseeing and historical research.Coulorful durbar is mostly conducted at the palace during festivities and as occasion may demand.

Kumuku National Park—The Park is located at Birnin Gwari Local Government Area and has a total land area of 1,120 sq. kilometer. Animals easily observed at the park include, Boboons, Elephant, Civet Cat, Hunting Dogs, Roan Antelope, and Birds etc. It is ideal for wildlife adventures, birds watching and recreational activities.

ADAMAWA STATE

Lamido Adamawa Palace—It is located at Yola, it is the seat of power of the traditionanal Adamawa Emirate which was founded by Lamido Adama between 1806-1848.  The palace was designed and constructed after Islamic architectural model. It is a historical monument and good for tourists sightseeing.

Ruwan Zafi Spring (hot spring)—It is located at Bachama, Bwasw/Lamurde Local Gaovernment.The spring oozes out of the Lamurde rock.During rainy seassion  one part of the spring is cool while the other part is hot to the boiling point.The scenary are interestingly alluring.
